Breast Cancer Resources


We are fortunate to have many cancer resource groups in the Finger Lakes that help to provide support for those affected and their families as we work towards a cure.

The Cancer Resource Center of the Finger Lakes is a good place to start to find local support groups and information about not just breast cancer but all forms of carcinoma because no one should face cancer alone.

Cayuga Health and Guthrie and provide breast cancer assessment, diagnosis, treatment and support.

Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center offers advanced screening options and support to aid in identifying the disease at its earliest stages.

The Cayuga, Cortland and Tompkins Counties Cancer Services Program‘s mission is to reach all uninsured/underinsured residents in Cortland and Tompkins Counties who qualify for free breast, cervical and colorectal cancer screenings.

The Ithaca Free Clinic provides basic primary care and referrals to people without insurance along with other holistic and therapeutic services.

The Young Survival Coalition is an organization that aids young women in their breast cancer fight.

Hospicare and Palliative Care Services in Ithaca and Cortland specializes in relieving the symptoms and stress of all serious illnesses including end-of-life care.

The New York State Department of Health also provides information on breast cancer resources, research and support.

And the National Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program provides public education, free and low-cost breast and cervical cancer screenings and diagnostic services to low-income, uninsured and underserved women.
