Discount Movie Ticket Night?
Discount Movie Ticket Night?

You may soon have an excuse to plan a date night on a week day. Due to falling ticket sales the Motion Picture Association of America says it may drop ticket prices one weeknight a week. Last year movie theater ticket sales fell 1.5 percent, and between 2004 and 2013 ticket sales dropped a total of 11 percent. Not helping ticket sales is the fact that ticket prices have steadily risen each year. It’s not clear what day ticket prices may be slashed, but some in the industry fear the change will cause people to opt out of going to the movies on the weekends. Then why not just stop raising ticket prices for a while. In my opinion, anything over $10 is too much! I mean by the time you pay for the tickets and get your popcorn, candy and soda you’ve spent almost $30 bucks. Add kids and a 3D movie to the mix and you’ll almost bankrupt yourself. I definitely like the idea of having one night of the week where I can save some money when it comes to going out! How bout you?
