Watch out the next time you take a selfie with someone! When you take a “selfie” with a friend you’re not only spreading love, but also possibly head lice. A California lice expert says she’s seen a big increase in head lice among teens within the past year. Typically it’s younger children who deal with lice because they’re at higher risk for head-to-heard contact, but now teens are sticking their heads together every day to take cell phone pics. Lice is not really a thought that crosses my mind when I take a selfie, but it will now!
