World’s First Hot Soda!
World’s First Hot Soda!

We do LOVE our soda here in the states, but would you drink it hot? Well, Coca-Cola in Japan is introducing a hot soda next month, which will be the first carbonated drink to be served hot. The self-heating product, called Canada Dry Hot Ginger Ale, is described as being, quote, “an intensely spicy, cinnamon and apple-flavored drink.” Mmmmmm, that does sound surprisingly good! It will be sold in vending machines across Japan, and competitors are already announcing their own hot sodas to compete. We’ll see if it makes the jump overseas…..I have a feeling it will soon enough.
