The new-look Stone Temple Pilots have slightly changed their moniker as Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington joins the band for upcoming tour dates and record releases.

Bennington joined the group three months ago after his new bandmates fired former frontman Scott Weiland and now the rockers have announced plans to release a new EP as Stone Temple Pilots with Chester Bennington.

High Rise will be released on the band’s own label, Play Pen/ADA, on 5 October, and will include the group’s first single, Out of Time.

Bennington made his STP debut in May at the KROQ Weenie Roast in California. The new-look act will kick off their first U.S. tour at the Sands Casino event center in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania next month.
