VIDEO: Ryan Seacrest trips, falls on Jane Lynch live on ‘Idol’
Jane Lynch came to the rescue of Ryan Seacrest on Thursday when he slipped and fell while walking down a staircase on the set of “American Idol.”
The “Glee” star was in the live audience of the TV show and when the host slipped on the steps as he walked past her, she reached out to grab him.
Without missing a beat, Seacrest leaped onto Lynch’s lap and continued introducing the show while seated on her knee, much to the crowd’s delight.
He later took to his Twitter page to post about the mishap, writing, “Sue Sylvester (Lynch’s Glee character) just *saved* my life. That’s a change of pace.”
