Reviews:
7/22: SALT w/Angelina Jolie. Does a lot of her own stunts keeping the CGI to a minimum. This movie seems more real than movies like “Knight & Day”

7/16: The Kids are Alright - w/Annette Bening, Julianne Moore and Mark Ruffalo
Fabulous movie – I love it!!
“over-the-top” 4 TIARAS
Inception - w/Leo DiCaprio from Christopher Nolan
brilliant film, but not a good film… it’s a lot of work for the audience to understand. I think the movie’s life will come from DVD’s and blogs after the fact.
2 ½ TIARAS
Listen to her review here:
7/8: Twilight Eclipse: 3rd in the series, thrives on its puritan audience and “how abstinence is sexy”
3 TIARAS
Sorcerer’s Apprentice Rated-PG with Nicolas Cage. “Not bad” , but I likes “Prince of Persia” better…
Listen here:
7/1: Family Friendly movies abound this year. Despicable Me - Animated, feels like it’s for small children but it’s smart enough to hold with older kids w/Steve Carrell, Will Arnett, Russell Brand
Grown Ups - ensemble cast of male comedy all-stars, including Adam Sandler. Fun movie!
3 Tiaras
Others:Toy Story 3 & Karate Kid Listen to her review here:
6/24
Cyrus – John C Reilly, Marissa Tomei, Jonah Hill --you will “cackle laugh” at the ridiculous situations.
3 ½ TIARAS (will be opening soon in town)
Knight and Day - Tom Cruise, Cameron Diaz (playing the dumbest woman you’ve ever seen) It’s a screwball action film, like “True Lies”, or “Romancing the Stone” Screen Queen says “there’s nothing wrong with it… but there’s something not quite right with it”

Wolverine
I thought it was great fun, and I don't know why anyone would find it confusing. I'm 50, female, and found this answered all the questions from the previous movies, and did it rather succinctly. It does not swing back to the present, it swings back to the 70s which is when the events take place. I truly don't see the confusion here. It was a good action flick, it was excellent for what it was, and downplaying it for not being something else is a bit silly. It's not Hamlet, it's a comic book.
