Employee of the Month Rules


Lite Rock 97.3 “Lite Workload Employee of the Month” is a web contest where listeners are invited to nominate a co-worker at literock973.com who they feel is doing an outstanding job at work. Starting Monday October 11, 2021, at 5AM, coworkers will be able to submit the name and a short response as to why their coworker should be our “Lite Workload Employee of the Month”. Winners will be chosen at random each month and announced. Nominators will be contacted by phone if their nominee is chosen. A Cayuga Media Group representative will deliver:

On a future date that is mutually convenient for both parties. We will deliver the prize to a prize winner within a 30-mile radius of the station. Entries not selected will be retained for subsequent drawings. Nominees may only win one time. If the winner is unreachable after 7 days following the date in which they were drawn the prize will be forfeited and a random drawing from all entries will take place and be awarded the next eligible entrant. WYXL is not responsible for any error, problems, or delays in the telephone, internet, or streaming systems with this contest. WYXL has the right to change the contest rules at any time. Listeners must be 18 years or older to win. We will make reasonable efforts to award Prizes within 30 days after winning.

One entry per person per month. Submitting more than one entry per person per month will invalidate all entries by that contestant. Any entry submitted on behalf of another individual or using another person’s email address or name will be disqualified and ineligible to claim any prize. Any attempt by any participant to obtain more than the stated number of entries allowed by using same, multiple/different email addresses, identities, or any other methods void that participant’s entries and that participant may be disqualified. in the event of a dispute as to any on-line registration, the authorized account holder of the e-mail address sued to register will be deemed to be the registrant and he/she must be eligible according to these official rules. No mechanically reproduced or automated entries permitted. Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification and all such entries will be deemed void.

WYXL contests are open to all eligible New York residents 18 or older have not won anything on WYXL in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named.

Employees of WYXL/WYXL-HD2, Saga Communications of New England, LLC, Cayuga Radio Group, and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one hundred mile radius of the WYXL/WYXL-HD2 main studio are not eligible to win any contest.  Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian.

This contest is being conducted on WYXL in Ithaca New York which is affiliated with Cayuga Radio Group, and listeners of said station will then be competing to win the same prize.

No purchase necessary. Prizes are not transferrable or redeemable for cash. WYXL sole responsibility will be to award the prize. WYXL shall have no further responsibility in connection with the prize if the prize winner, for any reason, cannot or decides not to use any of the prizes. Winners will be responsible for all applicable federal and state taxes. Fees and incidentals are not included and will be the sole responsibility of the winner.

‘Brady Bunch’ house, used in exterior shots for the popular sitcom, gets LA landmark status
