This year, America turns 250…and it’s going to be a blast!
Here’s a list of parades, festivals and fireworks across the Finger Lakes:
Saturday July 4th
Branchport‘s parade starts at 2pm with fireworks at 9:30pm
Canandaigua‘s parade starts at 10am from City Hall down Main Street toward the lake plus their Outhouse Park Celebration & Fireworks with food trucks, local history, and family activities like pie-eating contests and tug-of-war and fireworks at dusk
Cortland County’s Independence Day Spectacular is at Dwyer Memorial Park on Little York Lake…an all-day event with live music, food, & family friendly activities and fireworks over the lake at dusk
Freeville‘s “250 Years of Freedom” begins at 11am with music and food
Geneva‘s Independence Day and America’s 250th anniversary celebration culminates with fireworks at dusk setting off from Seneca Lake State Park
Hammondsport‘s carnival wraps up with fireworks at 9:30pm
Keuka Lake’s Fly‑In/Drive In Breakfast at Penn Yan Airport goes 6:30am-11:30am with music, airplane rides, a bounce house and more
Seneca Falls‘ Canal Fest runs through July 5th with a parade Sunday at 5pm and fireworks at dusk Sunday night
Watkins Glen‘s celebration is at Clute Park with fireworks at 9:30pm
