Do you keep your AirPods in all day?

You may want to rethink that.

A Florida doctor’s TikTok post has gone viral showing the danger of wearing your AirPods too much, according to Buzzfeed.

Here’s the video…it’s NOT for the squeamish…where he pulls a ball of earwax and fungus out of someone’s ear!

It’s called otomycosis, a fungal infection in your ears that occurs when you trap warm moisture in your ears.

The biggest risk comes from wearing earplugs, but you can get it if you wear headphones in your ears for too long especially when it’s humid outside.

If you do get it, the first step is to have the fungus ball get pulled out of your ear…then you’ll be on prescription ear drops for a few weeks.
