Are you a mosquito magnet?

Are you a mosquito magnet?

Here are some of the reasons you may get bit more than others:

Your body temperature  If it’s slightly higher than average, it attracts them.

You’ve exercised  It raises your body temperature and makes you produce more carbon dioxide and lactic acid, which mosquitos love.

You’re stressed out  Mozzies are drawn to the hormones in your sweat.

You haven’t showered  They’re attracted to a specific type of bacteria that we get near our ankles and feet…which is why they bite them so much.

The clothes you’re wearing  Dark colors like red, black and blue attract more mosquitoes than lighter ones like white and yellow.

You’re drinking  Alcohol dilates the blood vessels in your skin, making you a little warmer and a little tastier!
