Are you “in a relationship”?

You may be…and not even know it!

A new YouGov survey asked what constitutes “being in a relationship” …have you:

• Been dating for a year or more?  84% say that means you’re in a relationship.
• Dating for six months or more?  72% say that means yes.
• Agreed not to date other people?  70% say “coupled”.
• Both said “I love you”?  60% say yes.
• Have a drawer at their place?  58% yes.
• Changed your Facebook status to “in a relationship”?  Only 40% say that counts
• Had sex?  Just 17% say that means a relationship in 2020.
• Been on three dates?  8% of people think you’re together.
• Been to their house?  Another 8% think that matters.

Five percent of people polled think that if you’ve gone on just ONE date that’s good enough for them!
