Are you overstressed at work?

Pulling your hair out at work?

It’s terrible for your overall health and well-being.

Here are the warning signs that you’re overstressed at work from GQ:

You rarely take a break  Is visiting the bathroom a luxury?  Do you eat lunch at your desk every day? If you struggle to fit the necessary things in at work, your stress level is probably too high.

You always need a drink after work  Happy hour should be about relaxing and socializing but if it’s more about the drinking, you may be using it to deal with all the stress you’re under.

It’s hard to concentrate  Zoning out a lot at work might mean you’ve got too much of the stress hormone cortisol in your system…plus it can also make you more forgetful.

You’ve been getting a lot of headaches  Stress makes you clench your muscles and causes tension headaches so if you’re constantly popping Advil to deal with headaches or a stiff neck, it could be stress-related.

You have trouble sleeping.  Stress hormones can keep you from falling asleep or up at night…so can thinking about what’s ahead for the next day.
