Are you prepared for an emergency?

With the California wildfires raging and not one but two hurricanes impacting the US this week (#2020), emergency preparedness is on many people’s minds.

Are you ready?

A new survey suggests not very.

They polled people in America’s 25 biggest cities…the results:

You probably have enough food but not enough water.  80% have enough canned goods to last for three days but 40% don’t have three days’ worth of water.

81% would have no way to communicate if cell service went down.

Just 26% have an agreed-upon meet-up place if the family gets separated.

47% of us don’t have an emergency evacuation kit or go-bag ready.

Only 16% have access to a generator.

The least-prepared city?  Rochester!

Looks like we all have some work to do.
