The days of “do-it-yourself”…literally, doing ANYTHING yourself…are at an end.
A new survey by Aviva asked people if they knew how to do some basic tasks and you’ll be surprised (if not shocked!) at the results:
- 21% of people can’t change a light bulb
- 31% can’t cook a meal without a recipe
- 34% can’t read a map
- 35% can’t sew on a button
- 41% can’t remove a stain
- 43% can’t (or won’t) change a baby’s diaper
- 47% can’t check their car’s oil level
- 61% can’t put up wallpaper
- 63% can’t change a flat tire
- 78% can’t tile a floor
