Be a better dater

Dating takes practice, patience and diligence…and that was pre-pandemic.

The NY Post has some advice from the dating app Hinge on how you can “up” your dating game:

Don’t worry if there’s not a “spark” right away  Only 11% of people say they “fell in love at first sight” so you should stop expecting it, because you could be missing out.

Set specific dating goals  Just like dieting, finding someone takes motivation and you should set small, achievable goals so that you won’t get overwhelmed.

Re-evaluate your “deal-breakers”  Is height really a reason to reject someone? If your profile is too restrictive, you’re probably filtering out a lot of great people.

Give everyone a second chance  Maybe not a full second date…but first dates are weird, wild and sometimes wonderful. Taking a second shot at it might lead you to a “diamond in the rough”…as they say, Rome wasn’t built in a day!

Good luck…there’s someone out there for you!
