Coffee and COVID-19

Good news, coffee lovers!

new study at Northwestern found a connection with drinking coffee and lowering your risk of contracting COVID-19.

People who had at least one cup of coffee a day had a 10% lower risk for COVID-19 than those who didn’t.

Coffee consumption has already been linked to a lower risk for pneumonia thanks to its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties .

Vegetable lovers, too, had a lower COVID-19 risk than those who didn’t eat many…and processed meat eaters had a slightly higher risk in the study.

So drink up…and order a salad for lunch! 🥗
