Collectibles not worth collecting

If you were planning to retire off of your Beanie Baby collection, we’ve got some sobering news for you:

Don’t quit your day job!

Explored Planet says they’re really not worth much…$20 for a few of them and not much at all for most.

Other things you may want to stop hoarding are:

  • Most vinyl records…the market is oversaturated
  • Pez Dispensers…even the “good” ones only sell for a buck or two
  • Pogs…nearly all of them are worth less than the cost of shipping
  • Newer comic books…it’s about the vintage ones
  • Baseball cards…also about the vintage ones
  • Cabbage Patch Kids…only if they’re in the box in mint condition
  • Porcelain dolls…they just aren’t worth much
  • Old VHS tapes and DVDs…it’s time to “let them go”

Looks like we’ve just cleaned up your garage…and basement…and attic! 😉
