Mornings with Dave & Jen

Dating green (and red) flags 🚦

The dating landscape is trickier than ever…so it’s not surprising you may miss a red flag or two early on in the process.

Buzzfeed polled their readers on several dating behaviors and asked whether they  were OK (green flags) or warning signs (red flags):

Giving small gifts early on?  No problem…85% say that’s cool.

Texting you all day?  A close split…53% say red flag, 47% say green.

Asking you to hang out more than twice a week?  82% said that’s a Go.

Calling you “mine”?   Don’t…64% say it’s a red flag.

Introducing you to friends and fam?  Go for it…90% said that’s fine.

Talking about long-term plans early on?  Pump the brakes…64% say “No go”.

Wanting to “share locations” on social media?   A big “NOPE” from 82%

Planning all your dates?  Most say no…60% give it a red flag.

Calling you multiple times a day?  Better not…79% say “No”.
