“Disappearing” beers

We’re blessed to live in area with not only great wineries but great craft breweries like Ithaca Beer Company, Cortland Beer Company, Bacchus Brewing and Wagner Valley Brewing Company just to name a few.

Our (and America’s) love of craft beer and microbrews means some of the “mainstream” beers are becoming extinct.

According to 24/7 Wall Street, the beer most affected may be one of your favorite Summer brews…Bud Light Lime is off 36% over the past five years.

Maybe we figured you could just put a lime in regular Bud Light?

Keystone Light, Miller High Life, “Natty” Light and Budweiser are also off at least 20% or more.

Two on the rise?

Sales of Stella Artois and Modelo are up about 200% over the same period.

What’s your go-to brew?
