Do you work for a bad boss?

Was it tough to get yourself motivated to go back to work today?

Maybe it was more than just “holiday fatigue”…you may work for a bad boss!

Forbes sorts them into six categories:

The Coercer manipulates their team to prioritize their own personal interests over the team’s needs.

The Avoider doesn’t show up for their team, fails to respond to emails and frequently doesn’t give their team the support needed for their success.

The Micromanager is overly involved in the day-to-day dealings of their team, often dictating personal preferences for how the work should be done.

The Blocker fails to recognize individual contributions and gets in the way of their team’s progression by focusing on their own advancement.

The Hoarder holds all of the key information and selectively shares it with the team, if ever causing duplicate work and anxiety among the team.

The Blamer blames others if something goes wrong and fails to ever take accountability.

If you work for one (or more!), maybe it’s time to check out OvenFreshJobs.com!
