Does intermittent fasting work?

By now you’ve heard of “intermittent fasting”…where you go long stretches without eating during the day in order to lose weight.

But does it work?

Study Finds says yes…and you don’t even have to go to the extreme.

The University of Illinois at Chicago found people who intermittently fasted ate 550 fewer calories every day and lost about 3% of their body weight in 10 weeks.

The good news is that there wasn’t any difference for people who fasted for 18 hours versus people who fasted for a full 20 hours.

Will you be too hungry?

They found some fasters got mild headaches when they first started but they went away quickly.

So if you want to give it a go, try the shorter version and see if it works for you!
