Dogs and dating 🐶

“It’s me or the dog!”

You better not say that if you want to stay together!

A new study in Yahoo News found that almost 60% of dog owners wouldn’t date someone their dog didn’t like.

Dog owners also use them to sort out the “wheat from the chaff” when it comes to potential partners.

Big “red flags” are if:

  • They’re jealous over the attention you give to your dog
  • They’re too rough with your dog
  • They don’t show any interest in your dog or (worse) ignore it
  • They want to put your dog in a separate room when you’re hanging out
  • They get angry when you can’t go somewhere because of your dog
  • They never pet your dog
  • They tease your dog
  • They don’t show an interest in your dog’s health
  • They say your dog smells, is overweight or ugly

All of those things will put you in the “doghouse”!
