Eating breakfast in SILENCE 🤫

Having a tough time de-stressing these days?

There’s a wellness trend yoga retreats are offering now you might want to try…eating your breakfast in total SILENCE!

The NY Times says that most of us do the opposite in the morning…which isn’t a very calming way to start the day.

Sitting in silence slows your heart rate down and your cortisol levels drop, too.

Instead of just “clearing your head,” focus on your food.

It might be tough at first but as with most meditation techniques, it gets easier to do the more you do it.

Your mind might race at first, but it’s supposed to get easier and easier.

Breakfast is the best time to do it because it sets you up for the rest of the day but it works with any meal…and you can do it with others as long as they’re silent, too.
