Fighting Coronavirus

The Coronavirus outbreak has reached the United States…and here in New York, too.

About 60% of us have done something to avoid contracting it, according to a new YouGov study, including:

  • Improving personal hygiene
  • Avoiding crowded public places
  • Avoiding physical contact with tourists
  • Wearing a face mask in public
  • Skipping work or working from home
  • Keeping our kids from daycare or school

Purchases of disinfectant wipes and hand sanitizers have spiked…masks, too.

The best way to combat it may be the same way we combat cold and flu season…by washing our hands regularly…and for the 20 seconds or more it take to thoroughly clean them.

Here’s a fun list of songs you can listen to (or sing to yourself) that have choruses long enough to get the job done!

Happy scrubbing!
