First date faux pas

Meeting someone new this holiday weekend?

Better put away your iPhone!

A new YouGov survey asked over 1,200 people to name the worst things you can do on a first date…and texting or talking on your phone too much topped the list!

Not looking anything like your profile pic was second, followed by chewing too loudly, talking too much without asking questions and showing up late.

For men, the worst thing a woman can do is taking photos of your food to post on social media.

Women’s big turn-off is when men don’t offer to pick up the check.

How do we break the news to the unlucky soul who you won’t be seeing again?

Texting is #1, followed by calling them on the phone, ghosting them and meeting up again in person is fourth…we’d imagine a DISTANT fourth, too!

Good luck out there, kids! 🤞
