Natural ways to a better night’s sleep

Having a tough time getting a good night’s rest?

Maybe you should sleep like a star!

A sleep advisor who’s worked with Gwyneth Paltrow, Cameron Diaz and Sophia Bush shared his top five sleep supplements with the NY Post:

Saffron It’s a red spice that also serves as an antioxidant that can help reduce insomnia for a restful sleep and elevate your mood.

Magnesium He calls it “nature’s Xanax”…it calms the nervous system, relaxes muscles and can even aid in digestion.

L-theanine It’s an amino acid found in green tea which can help in relaxing your mind and reduce the stress hormone called cortisol.

Valerian root It helps reduce tension and anxiety that could reduce sleep.

Passionflower It helps lower the activity of brain cells to help calm the mind and make it easier to drift into sleep.

Consult your physician first before adding anything to your sleep regimen…and good night! 😴
