A recent study checked into our mood shifts during the day.
Weekdays we’re at our happiest between 6:00-9:00pm because we finally get to unwind from work…on weekends, it’s a LOT earlier…around 11:00am!
They also found what can instantly put us in a good mood…the top ten?
- A good night’s sleep
- When the sun comes out
- Going for a walk
- Getting a compliment
- Finding money in your pocket
- Getting a hug
- Good weather on the weekend
- The sound of birds chirping
- Flowers in bloom
- Having a snack.
Hearing “I love you!”, eating a home-cooked meal, sleeping in, the smell of fresh-cut grass, finishing work early, and bumping into an old friend all made the cut.
