Got an emergency? Don’t ask Alexa!

You may be in love with your voice-activated digital assistant…just don count on it when there’s a medical emergency.

Researchers from the University of Alberta in Canada asked 123 different critical first aid questions about things like heart attacks, poisonings and choking to the four most common digital voice assistants: Amazon’s Alexa, Google Home, Apple’s Siri and Microsoft’s Cortana…and the results were troubling to say the least.

Google Home got it right only HALF of the time…Alexa just once in five tries…and Siri and Cortana never did.

With any emergency, seconds count…so ALWAYS call 911 first.
