“Scrooging” is the new dating term when you dump someone before the holidays to avoid having to buy them a gift.

The dating website eHarmony came up with the term and based on their research 10% have done it, with men more likely to do it than women (no shocker there).

If you feel like the person you’re dating has been pulling away from you lately, they may be planning to “Scrooge” you at the last minute…so be alert!
