A new study in NetQuote found the average Uber or Lyft has over 200 TIMES more GERMS than the average taxi.
Why?
Taxis are regulated and get cleaned regularly where ride shares don’t.
The germiest spot in an Uber or Lyft is the button to roll down your window, the most by far…your seat belt is next.
BTW rental cars are pretty dirty, too…next time you rent wipe down the gear shift and the steering wheel.
