How much will your grad make? 👩‍🎓

Is your son or daughter graduating college this year? If so, congratulations!

How much will they be making in their first job in the “real world”?

Not as much as they think, apparently.

CNBC says current college students expect to score a $103,000 salary right after graduation…which is about half of the actual starting salaries (just over $50,000).

And, of course, some majors pay better than others.

Students with computer science degrees have an average starting salary of $76,000 and engineering students start out at $74,000…pay in those fields is also going up.

On the other hand, students with communications degrees have an average starting salary of $56,000 and humanities students start out at $51,000…but salaries in these fields is decreasing.

Here’s some good news for all grads…lots of businesses are hiring, so it should be easier for them to find a job than it was for the Class of 2021.
