How to be more likeable

Do you have trouble getting people to like you?

It’s more common than you think…here are some easy things you can do to be more likeable from Inc.:

Be seen. Often.  It’s called the “mere-exposure effect.”  Just being seen by people more often makes them more likely to enjoy being around you and even if you’re working from home, turning on your camera during Zoom meetings can help.

Ask questions.  People who ask questions during conversations are liked more by people they’re talking to because it lets them know you value their opinions and experiences and that makes them more likely to want to hang out with you.

Smile!  People who smile are perceived as more competent and more attractive and people are more likely to want to be around someone they consider attractive.
