Is is time for a social media break?

Do you find yourself constantly checking your phone?

It may be time for a social media break.

A new Pew Research study found that 30% of us are online constantly and it may be interfering with your personal life without you noticing it.

USA Today shares some warning signs:

You compulsively check your phone  You’re checking your notifications, messages and likes every few minutes or in a way that affects your job or family time.

You wake up or fall asleep feeling “off”  You wake up worried about something you said or saw on social media the night before.

Your real-life interactions are suffering  You’ve been interacting with your friends and family less while getting wrapped up in online arguments or endless scrolling.

You’ve started viewing yourself negatively  You’re constantly comparing yourself to someone else’s “great” life and feel that yours doesn’t measure up.

All of these are signs that you should think about cutting back your time online…how many did you check off?
