Is your doctor listening?

Does your doctor listen to you?

A new study in Newsweek found that, on average, doctors spend only 11 seconds listening to their patients describe the reason for visiting before interrupting them.

Only 36% of doctors in the study asked questions of their patients that invited them into the discussion of the health.

If this sounds familiar, it may be time to make a change to one you’re more comfortable with…and when in doubt…always get a second (or third!) opinion.

Also don’t be afraid to ask questions…it’s your health…take control of it!
