Life’s “little victories”

What’s better than finding money in your pants pocket?

It’s just one of life’s many “little victories”!

A new survey in The Mirror found something unexpectedly good happens to us about three times a week. Other “wins” are:

  • Waking up to nice weather
  • Getting an unexpected gift in the mail
  • Getting into a bed with fresh sheets
  • Traffic lights turning green as you’re approaching
  • Watching the sun set
  • Crossing off the last thing on a to-do list
  • Completing a do-it-yourself project on your own
  • A winning lottery ticket, even small ones
  • Receiving a compliment from a complete stranger

Also on the list was “Getting an extra hour in bed” and “when your favorite song comes on the radio”!

When any one of these things happens to us, it gives us a boost of happiness for over an hour…and helps us get through the day.

What are some of your “little victories”?
