Midlife crisis? Pick up a board! 🛹

One of the most viral moments from 2021 was the cranberry juice drinking skateboarder singing Fleetwood Mac’s “Dreams” on TikTok…it changed his life!

It could change your life, too!

New research in NY Post says Gen Xers in their 40s and 50s who are struggling with depression or mood issues should grab a board and start shredding!

Skateboarding can bring on “spiritual meaning” by providing self-expression which is something that often takes a back seat for adults and parents.

Plus you don’t have to be good at it.

Skateboarding celebrates failure (think falling) as part of your growth which helps adults loosen up and enjoy the ride (and falls) unlike other forms of exercise.

Now those “fails” can be dangerous, so if you’re going to give it a go, don’t do anything too crazy until you get comfortable and wear safety gear like helmets, elbow pads and knee pads to be on the safe side.

We’ll see you on the half-pipe!
