Milk…for sunburns?

You probably know that aloe helps your skin heal from sunburns.

You may also want to have some milk handy this Summer!

Delish says a cold compress using milk instead of water can take some of the pain away and speed up the healing process.

How?

It helps cool your skin down…the vitamin A and vitamin D help you heal…and the lactic acid acts like an exfoliant and gets rid of the dead skin.

You can even use yogurt…just spread it on like lotion.

If it doesn’t completely take the sunburn pain away, you can take Advil or Tylenol.

DON’T use it AS sunscreen, though…just to heal from the burns you WON’T get this Summer because you’ll use sunscreen…right? ☀😎
