A new study suggests that babies can learn a melody in the womb and recognize it after they are born. Finnish researches performed EEG tests on 24 children that had participated in the study. When studied both at birth and at 4-months old, the group that had been exposed to the song “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” in utero had a greater response to the tune than those that had not.
