Protecting your pets on the 4th

The 4th of July means BBQs, parades and fireworks…fun for us, but not so for many pets…in fact more pets go missing during the 4th than during any other holiday of the year.
Fox News shared some tips on protecting your pets this week:
  • Make sure your pets have proper ID on them if they get out of the house
  • Ask your vet about medication to calm your pet’s anxiety
  • Have distractions ready for your pets, like their favorite blanket or toy
  • Don’t take your pet to a party…there’s a better chance for them to get lost

Let’s make it safe and fun for them…and us, too!
