Flu season is here…should you get one this year?

The Tompkins County Health Department recommends it, according to WHCU Radio.

Public Health Director Frank Kruppa advises that if you contract the flu, it may be more difficult for your body to fight off COVID-19, even if you’ve been vaccinated.

And it is safe to get the COVID-19 vaccine (or a booster) and a flu shot at the same time, according to USA Digest…so if it’s easier to get both at the same time, you can.
