Signs your SO is “The One”

How do you know if your significant other is “The One”?

BuzzFeed‘s relationship experts shared some signs:

There’s a near-instant feeling of closeness.  It doesn’t have to be love at first sight.  But feeling comfortable around them right away is a good sign.

You care about their opinion, and they care about yours.  You genuinely want to hear their take on things, even if you don’t always agree.

You’re okay doing things without each other.  You should want to be around them, but also feel secure enough that you’re okay with them doing their own thing.

You can be vulnerable with them.  You feel like you can open up and let your guard down, and they’d never use it against you.

You’re okay with being bored together.  It’s easy to feel like you’re clicking when you’re doing new and exciting stuff all the time.  The real test is do you enjoy each other’s company when you’re doing laundry, or just sitting around.

You fight fair.  Even the best relationships have conflict.  The key is HOW you fight.  Are you blaming each other and trying to “win” every argument?  Or are you fighting, but still on the same team?

They’re affectionate.  That includes physical touch, or a random compliment out of nowhere.  If that stuff feels like it happens by default, you might have found your person.

You’d describe your relationship as “easy.”  You’ve heard people say long-term relationships are “hard work,” and they are.  But it shouldn’t feel like that always.  If your relationship seems easy in general, it’s a very good sign.

The more you check off, the more likely they are! 💖
