Slow WiFi? Might be your tree! 🎄

Holiday decorating Pro Tip: Be careful where you put up your Christmas tree…because it may be interfering with your WiFi!

Putting anything in front of your router, especially big things like a Christmas tree, can cause significant slowdowns and other issues according to The Sun.

Lights and tinsel can make it even worse because when your router’s radio waves hit tinsel, they bounce off and scatter which can slow your WiFi down….ornaments can do it, too!

Also if your tree’s plugged into the same outlet as your router, it raises the chances of your Internet connection dropping out.

So move it away from the router…and surf away!
