Sports is back…sort of 🏐🏀🏈

Today’s the day baseball fans have been waiting for since March…Opening Day!

The World Series Champion Washington Nationals (remember them?) play the Yankees to kick off an abbreviated season…the first major pro sport to “play ball” again.

Are we ready for it? Yes, according to a new ESPN poll.

78% of Americans are ready for sports to return even without fans in attendance, up from 65% in April.

It’ll look different, that’s for sure.

Buffalo Wild Wings even hired beer vendors to walk around at baseball parks to make it feel more like a sporting event.

Many baseball teams are printing out cardboard cutouts of fans to “fill” the stadiums…including some who are bringing their dogs!

When and if the NFL starts up, you’ll notice a few new things, too.

Players will now be able to put social justice messages on their helmets…and if you do get to attend a game this season you’ll have to wear a mask.

2021 can’t get here soon enough!
