Travel agent Skyscanner found the cheapest day to book a flight is Sunday and the cheapest day to fly is Friday, according to The Independent.

Fliers save an average of 21% leaving on Fridays compared to Sundays and booking that flight on Sundays saves about 5%.

To save even more, try to fly into a nearby airport that’s less expensive to fly into and set up a price alert to know when the fares drop for your vacation destination.
