Milk…it does a body good!
In fact, Yahoo says chocolate milk is the best thing to drink after a BIG workout!
This is not news to endurance athletes, who’ve known it for years.
Why?
After a really taxing workout (running many miles or lifting a lot of weights), you need carbs, protein, fat, electrolytes and vitamins to help your body recover….and chocolate milk has ALL of them!
If you’re (lightly) jogging on a treadmill for 30 minutes, the “recovery” time is less…so regular water works great.
