A guide to wedding gifts

Heading to a wedding this summer and aren’t sure what to get the bride and groom?

Ditch the registry!

Physical wedding gifts are giving way to “experiences” according to Tinggly …in fact over half of us have contributed to a honeymoon fund.

Here are the top four experiences we’d like to receive as a wedding gift:

  • An “adventure” like a hot air balloon ride or skydiving
  • A “freedom to choose your own experience”
  • Something relaxing like a couple’s massage or spa package
  • A getaway like a resort stay or at a nice hotel

If those sound a bit pricy, you’re not alone.

Most say their wedding gift budget is $150 or less…a third said it’s $50 to $100.

If that’s too much, gift cards always work…and 30% say cash is their “go to”!
