The “Bird Theory” of relationships

If you’ve been on Tik Tok for a moment, you most likely have seen one or two (or more!) “Bird theory” videos.

So what is it?  Fast Company says the “bird theory” or “the bird test” is supposed to show how interested your partner is in the things YOU care about even when they’re boring.

All you do is tell them, “I saw a bird today” and try to sound enthusiastic.

If they match your excitement and ask questions like “what kind of bird,” it means they’re a keeper…if they don’t engage at all, you’re doomed.

It’s mostly women doing it to men and you could make it harder by waiting until he’s distracted like try it while he’s playing a game or watching a Bills game.

Be careful, though…he may try it when “Housewives” is on!
