Your parent’s “house rules”
What were your “house rules” growing up?
A new survey in SWNS asked people for theirs…here’s the top 10:
- You can’t play until you finish your homework
- No TV until homework is done
- You can’t leave the table until you eat all your vegetables
- No sweets until after dinner
- A limit on TV time if it was a school night
- Finish everything on your plate even if you don’t like it
- You can’t do anything fun until your chores are finished
- No snacks right before dinner
- Be home before the streetlights turn on
- No eating in your bedroom
They also asked what made a friend’s house “cool” when they were kids…#1 was good snacks, followed by video games, cable TV, a swimming pool and better toys!
