The little ways we save money

We’re all looking for a good deal…but we all also have some tricks to save some extra money, too!

And it’s not chump change, either…SWNS says on average our small money hacks save us almost $600 a year!

Here are most common little ways we save some dough:

  • Turning off the lights to save on electricity
  • Putting on a sweater instead of turning up the heat
  • Using coupons and discount codes
  • Price shopping online
  • Walking or riding a bike to save on gas
  • Packing our lunch
  • Shopping around for services like cable or the internet
  • Looking for buy-one-get-one deals at the store
  • Buying things used or refurbished
  • Skipping a gym membership and working out on our own

A few more that made the list:  Buying stuff in bulk, cutting your own hair and growing your own fruits and vegetables!

What do you do to save some bucks?
